Publication of Vol. XXVI of the Judges' Newsletter on International Child Protection
The PB is pleased to announce the publication of the Vol. XXVI / Fall-Winter 2024 edition of the Judges' Newsletter on International Child Protection (Judges’ Newsletter). The Judges’ Newsletter provides information on developments relating to the HCCH Children’s Conventions, with a view to facilitating judicial cooperation in the field of international child protection.
This latest edition of the Judges’ Newsletter is dedicated to the Experts’ Meeting on “Nurturing the 1980 Hague Convention”, convened by Professor Marilyn Freeman and held at the University of Westminster in London in October 2023. Issues of asylum, domestic violence, and child participation, as they relate to international child abduction, were examined during the course of this meeting.
The PB, as well as the organisers Professor Marilyn Freeman (University of Westminster, United Kingdom) and Professor Nicola Taylor (University of Otago, New Zealand), are grateful to all panellists who participated in the meeting and those who have shared their contributions in writing for this Newsletter.
