Pursuant to Article 22, paragraph 4, the Republic of Korea declares that adoptions of children habitually resident in the territory of the Republic of Korea may only take place if the functions of the Central Authorities are performed in accordance with Article 22, paragraph 1.
With regard to Article 25, the Republic of Korea declares that it will not be bound under this Convention to recognize adoptions made in accordance with an agreement under Article 39, paragraph 2.
