Republic of Latvia deposits instrument of accession to 1980 Hague Convention on civil aspects of international child abduction bringing total number of States Parties to seventy

On 15 November 2001, the Republic of Latvia deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
The Convention, which now has 70 States Parties, will enter into force for Latvia on 1 February 2002.
