Second meeting of the Working Group dedicated to the Good Practices document relevant to the 1965 Service, 1970 Evidence, and 1980 Access to Justice Conventions
On 8 October 2025, the second meeting of the Working Group (WG) established to finalise the Good Practices document relevant to the 1965 Service, 1970 Evidence, and 1980 Access to Justice Conventions was held online, hosted by the Permanent Bureau (PB). The meeting had over 60 registered delegates representing 24 HCCH Members, in addition to members of the PB of the HCCH.
During the meeting, participants continued to develop a document designed to enhance the practical operation of the Conventions. The Good Practices document will apply to those involved in the preparation, transmission, and execution of requests for cooperation. It will include measures to strengthen effective cross-border cooperation, including by streamlining procedures and encouraging the use of information technology.
The WG will meet again in December 2025 to finalise the Good Practices document and will report to CGAP in March 2026.
