Today, 6 October 2023, the Republic of Rwanda deposited its instrument of accession to the Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (1961 Apostille Convention). Rwanda accedes to 1993 Hague Intercountry Adoption Convention
On Wednesday 28 March 2012, Rwanda deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Convention of 29 May 1993 on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption and has thus become the 87th Contracting State to this Convention.
