Apostille certification in the Republic of Croatia is conducted by the locally designated Municipal Courts by the place of issuing/verification of the document.

The Municipal Courts charge court tax from 6,64 EUR – 7,96 EUR according to the Act of Court Tax (the price depends on whether the text is in Croatian language – 6,64 EUR – or in translation – 7,96 EUR).

The Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation of the Republic of Croatia is national central authority for conducting of application of Apostille Convention in the Republic of Croatia and issues Apostille in exceptional situations on documents issued by bodies of state administration.
