Authority

a- At the central level:
- General Directorate of Public Liberties and Legal Affairs: is competent to issue apostille for documents issued by institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transports, intended for use abroad.
- General Directorate of Human Resources, Training, and Fundamental Laws: is competent to issue apostille for diplomas and the pedagogic documents established by the institutions under supervision of the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transports, intended for use abroad.

b- At the local level:
- All the Administrative Districts (Dairas) of Algiers Province (Wilaya): are competent to issue apostilles for civil status documents intended for used abroad.
- For the other Wilayas (Provinces): The Daïras  of Provinces Center are competent to issue apostille for civil status documents intended for use abroad.

c- At local level:
- Directorates of Education of all the wilayas (Provinces).
Are competent to issue apostille for pedagogic documents and certificates intended for use abroad such as school certificate, transcript of termly results assessment, school notebook, certificate of completion of primary education, primary education achievements certificate, middle education certificate, baccalaureate certificate, transcript of the successful candidate in the middle education certificate, baccalaureate transcript of records, temporary success certificate, academic record card, work certificate, salary statement, total services, certificate of success from the national institute of training, transcript from the national office for distance education and training, Level certificate of the National Office for Distance Education and Training, Basic education certificate for adults, Certificate of Level proficiency…

- Sub-Directorate of Certification, Authentication and Equivalence

b- At the local level:
- Directorates of Vocational Training and Education of all the wilayas (provinces).
Are competent to issue apostille for diplomas and vocational training and educational documents such as specialized vocational training certificate, professional qualification, professional mastry certificate, technician certificate, certificate of professional aptitude in banking, certificate of professional aptitude in insurance, certificate of mastry in accounting techniques, senior technician certificate, economics and law certificate, vocational education certificate, higher vocational education certificate, initial vocational qualification certificate, vocational qualification certificate, validation of acquired professional experience (VAE), transcript of records, training program / total duration (hours), certificate of training attendance, work certificate, internship certificate…
