Pursuant to Article 12, second paragraph, of the Convention abolishing the requirement of legalisation for foreign public documents, the Kingdom of the Netherlands (the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten) hereby raises an objection to the accession of the Republic of Senegal to the aforementioned Convention.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands withdraws its declaration made in accordance with Article 12, second paragraph, of the Convention, objecting to the accession of the Republic of Senegal to the Convention. Therefore, the Convention will take effect between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Senegal as of 28 January 2026.
