<title>2005 Choice of Court Convention enters into force for Moldova </title>
<description>Today, 1 July 2024, the Convention of 30 June 2005 on Choice of Court Agreements (2005 Choice of Court Convention) entered into force for the Republic of Moldova, following the deposit of its instrument of accession on 14 March 2024.&amp;nbsp;
At present, 34 States and the European Union are bound by the 2005 Choice of Court Convention. More information on this Convention is available on the Choice of Court Section of the HCCH website.&amp;nbsp;
Moldova has been a Member of the HCCH since 2016 and is a Contracting Party to nine HCCH Conventions.&amp;nbsp;..</description>

<title> Republic of Moldova seeks membership to the Hague Conference</title>
<description>Today, during the Council on General Affairs and Policy, the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law received the official proposal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to admit the Republic of Moldova as a new Member of the Organisation. The Secretary General then formally opened the six month period for existing Members to vote on the proposal. The proposal of the Netherlands was in response to a request submitted by the Republic of Moldova earlier last week.

<title> The Republic of Moldova set to issue e-Apostilles</title>
<description>On 12 August 2013, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Mr Iurie Leanca, and the Minister of Justice, Mr Oleg Efrim, announced the upcoming issuance of e-Apostilles in Moldova. A new regulation has been issued for this purpose and will be approved by the Government of Moldova as soon as next week. It is expected that the regulation will enter into force by the end of September 2013. By doing so, Moldova joins the exclusive group of States that have fully implemented the e-APP (electronic Apostille Programme).
