<title>2007 Child Support Convention enters into force for Denmark</title>
<description>On 1 October 2025, the Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (2007 Child Support Convention) entered into force for Denmark following the deposit of its instrument of ratification on 30 June 2025.
At present, 55 States and the European Union are bound by the 2007 Child Support Convention. More information on this Convention is available on the Child Support Section of the HCCH website.

Mr Ulf Melgaard, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, signed, on behalf of Denmark, the Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (2007 Child Support Convention). <description>On 31 May 2018, the Permanent Bureau was informed that Denmark had deposited its instrument of accession to the&amp;nbsp;Hague Convention of 30 June 2005 on Choice of Court Agreements (Choice of Court Convention) on 30 May 2018.
