<description>On 11 and 12 September 2025, the Permanent Bureau (PB) of the HCCH hosted a Roundtable and Training on the application of the 1980 Child Abduction and 1996 Child Protection Conventions, in particular concerning the children of Ukraine. The event, held in hybrid format, had close to 85 registered participants, representing 25 HCCH Members and three Observers, in addition to members of the PB.

<description>The Permanent Bureau has been informed that on 28 April 2023, Ukraine deposited its instrument of ratification of the Convention of 30 June 2005 on Choice of Court Agreements (2005 Choice of Court Convention).

<title>Ukraine launches a Category 2 e-Register</title>

On 20 November 2015, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine launched a Category 2 e-Register as part of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) under the&amp;nbsp;Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents&amp;nbsp;(Apostille Convention).&amp;nbsp;The e-Register is available at http://apostille.minjust.gov.ua/en/index. <description>On Wednesday 24 July 2013, Ukraine ratified the Hague Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (hereinafter the 2007 Hague Child Support Convention). Ukraine is the fourth Contracting State to join the 2007 Hague Child Support Convention, which came into force on 1 January 2013.
In relations between Contracting States, the 2007 Hague Child Support Convention replaces the United Nations Convention on the Recovery Abroad of Maintenance of 20 June 1956 to which Ukraine is also a Contracting State.
