<title>The Apostille Convention enters into force for Morocco</title>
<description>On 14 August&amp;nbsp;2016, the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention) entered into force for the Kingdom of Morocco. Having acceded to the Apostille Convention on 27 November 2015, Morocco became the 110th Contracting State to the Convention, which now counts 112 Contracting States.
Morocco has been a Member of the Hague Conference since 6 September 1993 and is already party to five other Hague Conventions. The Apostille Convention is thus the sixth instrument of the Hague Conference to which Morocco is..</description>

On 27 November 2015, Morocco deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (the &amp;quot;Apostille Convention&amp;quot;). <title> Morocco accedes to two Hague Conventions</title>
<description>
On 26 April 2010, Morocco deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Convention of 4 May 1971 on the Law Applicable to Traffic Accidents. The Convention will enter into force for Morocco on 25 June 2010.
Earlier this year, on 9 March, Morocco acceded to the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. This accession has already been accepted by several other Contracting States. The Child Abduction Convention will enter into force for Morocco on 1 June 2010.
