<description>The&amp;nbsp;Hague Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance&amp;nbsp;entered into force for Belarus on 1 June 2018. Upon ratification of the Convention on 16 February 2018, Belarus became the 38th&amp;nbsp;State to be bound by the Convention.

<title>Belarus ratifies Child Support Convention</title>
<description>On&amp;nbsp;8&amp;nbsp;March 2018, the Permanent Bureau was informed that on 16 February 2018, Belarus has deposited its instrument of ratification to the Hague Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (Child Support Convention). With the ratification of Belarus, the Child Support Convention now has 39 Contracting Parties. The Child Support Convention will enter into force for Belarus on 1 June 2018.

<title>Belarus signs the 2007 Hague Convention on Child Support ; the Republic of Cyprus ratifies the 1985 Hague Trusts Convention</title>
<description>On 15 March 2017, during the meeting of the Council on General Affairs and Policy of the Hague Conference, Belarus signed the Hague Convention of 23 November 2007 on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance. Belarus was represented by the Minister of Justice, H.E. Mr. Oleg L. Slizhevsky. With the signature of Belarus, the Convention now has 37 States and REIOs which have signed, ratified or acceded to the instrument.
