The 1996 Child Protection Convention currently has 52 Contracting Parties. While Barbados is not a Member of the HCCH, it is currently party to four other instruments. The Child Abduction Convention, which now has 101 Contracting Parties, will enter into force for Barbados on 1 October 2019.
