<title> Armenia accepts the Statute of the Hague Conference</title>
<description>The Permanent Bureau is pleased to announce that on Tuesday 28 April 2015, Armenia deposited its instrument of acceptance of the Statute of the Hague Conference, and thus became the Conference's 79th Member. The Permanent Bureau was represented by the Secretary General, Mr Christophe Bernasconi, the Embassy of Armenia was represented by the Ambassador of Armenia, Her Excellency Ms Dziunik Aghajanian and the Minister-Counsellor, Mr Gevorg Petrossian, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands was represented by Mr Jules van Eijndhoven and Mr Mark Groen.

<title> Armenia seeks membership in the Hague Conference</title>
<description>On 8 November 2013, the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on 
Private International Law formally opened the six month period for 
existing Members to vote on the proposal of the Netherlands Ministry of 
Foreign Affairs to admit the Republic of Armenia as a new Member of the Organisation. The Netherlands presented 
its proposal in response to interest expressed by this State in joining
the Hague Conference.&amp;nbsp;

<title> Armenia accedes to the Hague Service and Evidence Conventions</title>
<description>
On 27 June 2012, the Republic of Armenia deposited its instruments of accession to the Hague Conventions of 15 November 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters and of 18 March 1970 on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters. 
The Evidence Convention will enter into force for Armenia on 26 August 2012. In the absence of any&amp;nbsp;objection to&amp;nbsp;Armenia&amp;#39;s accession, the Service Convention will enter into force for the Republic of Armenia on 1 February 2013.
